Hey,

hope you are all having a worry free Thursday :)

Just a quick one this morning,

does anyone get swollen hands/feet? I do, i dont know if this is anxiety related or something else... its especially 1st thing in a morning for me, but can last all day... sometimes i cant even get my rings off..

although mainly my hands, i feel my feet do too sometimes.

x

Anxiety would not be the cause of swollen hands and feet. This is something that should be discussed with a doctor.

It's great that you are doing something about your anxiety.

Think it's about time I did, I've had therapy, my first therapist was fab, 2nd not so, so awaiting a new one. I dont think this alone is enough now though.

I first suffered 5 years ago after a traumatic birth, after about a year got over it on my own. Then I think with stress money problems over last 18 months it's come back with a vengeance, and I just can't break out of the cycle of it all x

What kind of swelling? Is it obvious/visible swelling? Or it just feels kind of swollen? Just curious because for many years I've also seemed to notice that a ring may be a bit tighter or whatever, at various points throughout the day. No obvious swelling though and it's gone on for as long as I can remember.

I hope all goes well with your appt, and your treatment for anxiety.

Not visible really, I can tell as I have my rings on and cannot get them off in a morning not like they are cutting off the blood circulation though. Maybe it's just because we are hypersensitive.

Deffo goes down during day so I can remove with ease though. X

If it's first thing in the morning, maybe it's just from blood pressure and other normal changes during sleep? Not positive, just a thought. :)

Possible, I always have high bp at docs but it calms down throughout the appt. maybe I wake up hit a heightened state of anxiety just from being awake lol. I'll check it out at my appt next week x
