ive had bad headaches and stressed over my health all around the same time, right after my first panic attack in january 2013. i am, for sure, an anxious person and a hypochondriac. ihad a brain mri in november 2014, it came back good. i'm still having headaches, now with neckpain, blurred vision when i concentrate, vertigo (which i never had before), and gastro issues.

my question is, when is the appropriate time to get the next scan? i person i know thats my age, 30, just got diagnosed so it may just be fresh on my mind.

I would see a specialist, like a neurologist, of you haven't.

If your MRI came back clear in 2014 then it's very unlikely you've grown a new tumour since then:).... do you wear glasses?... maybe you should get your eyes tested if you haven't already.

I actually would see a mental health professional as the additional gastric symptoms, blurred vision, vertigo and neck pain/headaches are indicative of increased stress and anxiety disorder.

Hey there. If you haven't seen it, there's a book called It's All In Your Head by a neurologist called Suzanne O'Sullivan.

The book is Suzanne reviewing various cases she has seen over the years where symptoms have turned out to be completely psychosomatic, and explains the reasons why. It's really helped me to combat the psychosomatic things I feel and rationalise my thoughts around health anxiety, etc.

It's been pretty controversial because some people with illnesses that are super hard to pinpoint, like fibromyalgia, feel Suzanne is dismissing their cases. However, I have found it great.

Thought I'd mention it in case you were interested :)
