So... I finally increased my dose to 20mg on the 27th Dec. I have been on cit for about 4 months now. Honestly, my anxiety has definitely decreased. But I was in a lecture yesterday and suddenly started to feel the onset of a panic (?!) which I haven't had for months... I started to feel so much better on 15mg but now after 2 weeks on 20mg I find myself feeling really strange and like I'm not really 'here' which then makes me panic. I have suffered from dereality lots but at the moment I'm finding it's 24/7 and I feel super tired all the time... Could this be because of the cit?

Anyone know how long before they felt 'ok'/'normalish' on 20mg? Do you think there's a possibility it's too high?

I'm finding socialising really tough at the moment because I don't feel present, I feel slightly zombiefied and my emotions feel a little bit forced? Sometimes when I laugh I don't actually feel happy it's like it's an automatic response. Has anyone else experienced this and will it get better? :scared15:

Thanks.

Hi there.
It will get better. It took me 13 weeks on 20mg to feel better. Time varies from person to person. Just hang in there. 20mg is still a low dose. I have had a few blips out of the blue and they can be expected. Just remember that the tablets are there as support. Work hard at meditating and understanding your anxiety so you can control it when suddenly strikes.

Thanks Andy- I actually felt relatively relaxed today for a change. Have started group therapy and mindfulness each morning. Also have started to do a bit of exercise again! I'm definitely feeling less zombified. Hopefully it can only get better now!
