Hi, I'm just panicking a bit about my health at the moment.
I have had quite severe HA for many years (triggered by previous health issues).
I was recently referred via two week wait to the breast clinic, after finding a lump in my right breast over Christmas.
I was seen in the clinic at the start of this month and had a scan, and this was followed by an examination by a Nurse Specialist, and I was told that fortunately all is normal.
Big relief!
However this weekend, the HA has been creeping back in... I've still got the lump (it can't be related to my cycle as my recent period has come and gone and it's still there) and I keep thinking what if the lady who did the scan somehow didn't get the exact area or missed something?
I know rationally I was seen by professional people in the clinic who know what they are doing, but you know what it's like with us Ha sufferers.
Argh... reassurance needed! Please!

Trust the specialists. They know what they are doing and know what to look for. :yesyes:

An explanation for the lump would've been reassuring.
Perhaps you can contact the clinic and ask.
A simple "All is normal" is initially very reassuring (that's what we're all hoping to hear, right?), but when the symptom remains and you have no explanation for why it is there, your brain is naturally curious to know why.
I think you are well within your rights to ask for more information, and I think you should.
Best wishes.
