For a few days ive been havaung a sore feeling in the bottom of my mouth, like under my tongue but near the gum... literally just now i felt a lump that is definitely noticeable, looked in the mirror and it is almost like a clear lump. It hurts when touched with my tongue.
Before, i posted about a swollen gland in one side of my neck, could it be a salivary gland playing up or something? Does anyone know what this clear lump is?
I can't diagnose but I would be willing to bet it is a mucus cyst. I had one several years ago that petrified me but they are actually really common/harmless. They are clear because they are just full of saliva.

Quite strange but its gone already! After i posted this, it went suddenly, still a little but sore. Are these things caused by salivary gland problems?

I think it's much like a spot on your face or a blister on you heal. An aggravated bit of skin that goes down just as readily as it appears.
Just like your pores can get clogged on your face, so can your little glands in your mouth. I think it's similar.

I get those sometimes. It's like a blister. It pops if you mess with it, and then it's gone. if you don't pop it, it will pop on its own eventually.
