Hello everyone,
My name is Jill and I'm new to the forum; I have been struggling with health anxiety for around 5+ years, all triggered when my mother was involved in a car accident. I am 30 years old and I just have to say that this is so exhausting, every single day feels like a struggle just to get through; I am constantly crying and feel sick to my stomach. I think it's also safe to say I've pretty much driven everyone in my life away with my incessant need for reassurance. My current fear is oral cancer due to two rough feeling patches of skin on both cheeks where they rest against my teeth.
Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself to the community, I've read the boards and you all sound so similar to myself and I'm hoping to gain some relief through knowing I'm not alone.
