Well, I must admit that I have been lurking around here for awhile...:blush:
I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia/Chronic Myofascial Pain, but after
3 1/2 years of being misdiagnosed, have developed an unhealthy health anxiety...Not fun:lac:
After reading for awhile the symptoms and worries of others, it seems nice to have a place to come where someone else can understand.:hugs:

Hello and welcome!
My mum's got fibromyalgia and I can easily see how being constantly mis-diagnosed could lead to health anxiety. Mum was given a whole catalogue of different diagnoses, some of which weren't very pleasant, and with each new diagnosis, I had to look up info for her on the net. They think it's causes are partly physical, partly psychological. She has physio and is starting CBT tomorrow.
