Hi there,
I've been lurking around on this forum for a very long time now and I'm finally introducing myself. I suppose like everyone else what drew me to this place is health anxiety. It's been so helpful with all my anxiety problems to look them up here instead of surrounding myself with symptoms and checklists like I used to do.
Anyhow, my health anxiety is still a big problem but I am in therapy working on coping skills. My therapist recommended reaching out to this community as well, so I wanted to say hi.
So hi! My name is Jo, I'm 30, and I live in Orlando Florida. I've been actually diagnosed with GAD, OCD, aspergers, and panic attacks. As well as IBS. I spend a lot of time every day trying to remind myself that all these things are probably causing most of my health stuff! Even so I manage to convince myself I have all kinds of illnesses most of the time.
Anyway thanks for being such a good and supportive forum. I'm happy to have found this place.
