Hello - I thought I would give this place a go. I suffer from social anxiety.
It started when I was about 12 and I am now 48. Any type of anxiety is so hard to explain to someone not affected as they just don't understand. I am hoping to speak to people with the same problem.
I have had to deal with this problem as I have always been the breadwinner. The majority of the time I have dealt with the problem by avoidance (not the best way) but at work I have to hit it head on (project manager)
My wife left me last year and it's knocked me for six. It's made my anxiety triple and now really struggle each day at work. As soon as I am home in the evening it's a massive relief - anyhow sorry I am running on - hopefully I will get some good tips here.
