Just started cipralex this morning. 10mg took this morning with some yogurt. I've read so many negative first 2 week symptoms now I'm worried! Any positive first 2 week expierences? No side effects? Wishful thinking! Lol it's been a few hours since I took it and so far no side effects.

Support groups can present a very distorted picture. Most people have relatively few problems starting antidepressants. Only the ones that do end up in forums like this one.

The thing to keep in mind is that side-effects are not always a matter of chemistry and biology. Anxious minds are very adept at delivering us our worst nightmares in full Widescreen, Technicolor with surround sound given half a chance. Self-talk yourself into believing you will suffer greatly and you may well do so.
