Does anyone know anything about the vagus nerve? I've heard it is near the spine & can cause gastrointestinal discomfort if compromised. By compromised I mean poor posture or carrying something too heavy because I've noticed with myself if straining myself or In wrong position, it can trigger GI symptoms. I was told once that the spine might be slightly misaligned due to poor posture & that that could cause these symptoms. It's not a constant issue but does start up at times & it's a distressing symptom when it occurs. Any feedback would be much appreciated. Thank You.
