I didn't let it show
hoping no one would know
i had to know what happened to me
but without letting anyone see
why was i felling this pain
why did you keep doing it again?
why did you start hitting me?
only in places people would see?
now the bruises have went away
but i carry the scars with me everyday
the scars inside have never faded
not since the day my life was invaded
