I'm just curious- has anyone ever had an increase in medication after months and months? I've been on Cit 20mg since April 2016, found it working, but started to spiral backwards a few weeks ago. My doctor said I could increase to 30mg, which I started on Monday. Obviously I'm not expecting any changes right away, but I'm wondering- would it take a shorter amount of time to kick in, since it's already in my system?

Unfortunately it's making it worse again for now- I feel like I'm just kind of floating through life and have an almost constant knot in my stomach. Anxiety sucks, huh?

Yes, it is sometimes necessary to increase doses. Has anything changed recently which increased your stress levels, or has there been any changes in other medications?

Antidepressants usually begins working faster than at the beginning, but it may still take a month or more to get the maximum response out of the increase.

An increase in anxiety is quite common after upping antidepressant doses because of the extra serotonin activity. It should settle down fairly quickly.
