Is it normal for your heart to race when you have a cold? 8 feel awful, severe head congestion, clogged nose, sneezing, low grade fever .... my heart rate is about 110 laying here and has stayed about that all day long.
Is this normal when sick ?
Thank you

Hi Ladybandit
Sorry you aren't feeling well, I hope you feel better soon.
Yes it's very normal for your heart to beat fast when you have an infection and or temperature. The body tries to fight off the infection and that's what makes the heart beat faster although medically I don't know why!! I always get that when I'm not well and I hate it.:mad: Scary...especially for us anxiety sufferers!:weep:
Yes, I think so. I am also getting over a bad cold/sinus issue and I notice my heart beating faster...
