First question is why are you monitoring your heart rate? Hyper-focusing on it will only keep you in the cycle of anxiety.

As far as why?

Anxiety is like a campfire. When you're in the midst of a spiral the fire is burning bright and hot. When the flames die down, there's still a bed of red hot coals burning away just waiting for some more fuel. You may not feel anxious but your body is still on high alert and has a bed of hot anxiety coals inside just waiting to flare up. Just like a campfire, the hot coals of anxiety take a long time to finally go out.

i know but I could feel it going rapid then of course you get anxious, it seems to be down at about 100 now, I just cant stop monitoring everything, yesterday it was spo2 levels and today heart

should I just get on citalopram and stop trying to beat this naturally ?

Believe the doctor or believe a search engine... your choice.

Good luck and as always...

Yeah I'm afraid you are going to have to do something different, because this idea of yours about trying to beat it naturally, like you did before, is just not working this time for you.

Good hear you're getting CBT though. That will eventually help you in the long run.
