I'll never know when I'm having a heart attack because of this constant chest pain. It's driving me crazy! I wish I could take a klonopin right now just so that I could stop freaking out. I've cried pretty much all day because of this chest pain, and I don't see the cardiologist until next week.

I'm afraid I won't wake up tomorrow :weep:

I believe you certainly would know the difference. I think they key difference would be that your body knows when you are genuinely in danger, while anxiety is all in the mind. Your body isn't telling you "my chest hurts" - your anxious mind is. Body and mind speak slightly different languages - the body is usually more assertive (and correct).

I get chest pains with anxiety, too. I've been quite stressed lately. We have to move, unexpectedly, and with a relatively short notice. For the first few days after we found out, I was experiencing some chest pains. It happens.

Having had two heart attacks, I can absolutely assure you that you wouldn't be posting and wondering.
