Hopefully another overreaction

My back hurts near the top right on the spine. I notice that when I am sitting it hurts more if I'm slouched. If I bend my arm certain ways it also hurts. Is this due to posture?

Also one of my ribs hurts. A month ago it just started hurting very badly to the point where I could not breathe without pain. It went away, but sometimes it returns. I can cause the pain by moving my arm or by pressing on the rib. The pain actually goes through the whole rib.

Are both of these things muscular because I can replicate them by movement and pressing? Or could there be something more sinister at foot?

Sounds absolutely posture/muscle related.

There's an old joke...

Patient: "Doc, it hurts when I do ___________ (fill in the blank)"
Doc: "Don't do that!"

This might be extremely pathetic... but I think I hurt my back and ribs by turning and twisting my body to look at the area on my leg where I thought I had skin cancer.

Anxiety is bad kids.
