Has anyone tried Yoga and if so did you find it helped with anxiety. My main concern is I fixate on my heart rate / breathing and don't want to do anything that will elevate it too much, thus increasing my anxiety (vicious circle!) I am hoping that it would give me a positive attitude to deep breathing. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Any activity which fills your time with something proactive will be of benefit. If you explain your concerns to the instructor then I am sure they will take it into consideration.

Thanks Kathryn, I appreciate the reply. I am trying to take baby steps, but maybe I just need to bite the bullet and try it.

I tried yoga recently. Never again, I kept falling over, I have zero balance. :D
Did you ever give it a go?
