Hello everyone,

I had a blood test done without fasting just for a regular check up. My glucose levels are 6.2 and this is an hour and a half AFTER eating.

Is that too low for after eating? I googled it and apparently 2 hours after eating should be from 6.6 - 11.0 after a meal. Should I be worried that mine is under 6.6?

No, you shouldn't worry at all. That's a completely normal level. I don't know where you found the figure of 11. 8 would be considered too high an hour and a half after eating. When I had low sugar in a routine blood test once, mine was 2. I had the test repeated and it went up to 4 which they were happy with. You are in the very healthy range!

Will you believe what Cattia says? I sure hope so ;) You have an extensive history of irrational responses to normal physical responses.

Minor differences from the norm are still, in 99.9% of the cases, normal.
