Hi everyone
I've suffered with anxiety on and off for many years and have always found this site to be a huge help. It's been many years since I last visited as after my last episode I developed coping mechanisms which helped keep the anxiety at bay or at least manageable.
However 3 weeks ago my beautiful 21 year old cat died at home, as I have no children and am separated he was my constant companion so his loss is huge to me. It seems to have triggered the anxiety to come back with a vengeance especially at night. I will post more about it in the GAD forum.
Hopefully with the help of everyone here I'll get back on track again soon.
Take care
