I've been on esa for 2 years, for anxiety, depression. My anxiety is bad to the point I can't leave my house alone..

but I finally had a medical on the 15th of February this year and when I finally got my letter I had been placed in the work related group, this is of cause hard for me since I can't go out alone and I don't always have someone able to go with me.
so my mum rang today to ask for a mandatory reconsideration, and the bloke on the phone agreed to give me one but basically said unless I was terminally ill or disabled to the point of never working, I would not be placed in the support group no matter what. But I had been in it for nearly 2 years? And my sister who suffers from the same issues as me got placed in the support group just last week, and she's not terminally ill either! I'm very confused :s but my mum is ringing again tomorrow to talk to someone else.

The support group has different descriptors than the WRAG. They are available online if you want to view them.

Nothing to do with terminally ill, nor severely disabled in the long term.
