do kids get piles?

hi there

hopefully someone can help me with this

my son came back from weekend with his dad and his bum was bleeding.
now you can imagine the first thing that went through my head.
Am trying to rule out everything else under the sun. Is it possible for kids to get piles? It looked like a burst one but i could be wrong. there was a good bit of bright red blood.it has stopped completly now.
any ideas??

I am fairly sure that anyone of any age can get them.

The best thing is the cream called Anusol (nice name eh?) but check with the chemist if he can use it.

Personally I would pop him to the docs just to reassure yourself and check the treatment for kids.
