Hi there,
I am 44 and am on day 6 of my period and still having a heavier than normal flow (by that I mean normally by day 6 I am really just down to brown discharge - with one panty liner required for the day) - but this month I have been through a larger pad today with heavier brown discharge.
The bleeding is not bright red - just brown - but more of it.
My cycles are still regular - but I do feel some hormone imbalance creeping in (acne, mood swings, hot flushes at night sometimes).
Do you think this is peri menopause?
Of course HA thoughts start in my thoughts of the what if's, etc!
