woke up, felt ok, heartrate was low, then got up to have a shower, legs started shaking, heart rate was about 150, horrible !

now this doesn't scare me too much, I'm used to it

is it normal for the rest of the day for your heart to be about 100-120 ? as mine is racing al day after this

I really hope citalopram will end this nightmare for me

I know for myself, once I start down panic lane, I'm usually there for a while. Senses heightened and such. So, for me, yes a higher heart rate for even a couple of days is normal if I'm not coping well.

I hope you get some relief soon!

thanks. yesterday I sat about the house and my heart rate was about 60bpm yet I was feeling tingling and shortness of breath etc which I just find really strange

where as today I had the panic attack in the morning and fast heart all day and dizzy but didn't feel as anxious all day..

it's just bizarre lol

I'm also taking citalopram for anxiety and panic disorder. It's only been just under three weeks. Do you find it's helping at all?

When my panic comes on I lie on my back with my legs elevated and focus on my breathing. Usually sorts the heart rate panic out.
