Hello there,
I would quite like a penpal! Although I have quite a wide social circle, not many of them know the extent to which I struggle with my anxiety and OCD, and so it often feels like I'm a bit cut off from them. Meeting people on here has been a great tonic, and really helped, so I'd love to get to know more people with the same conditions. I don't fancy a physical group or group therapy, as I feel I'd find the face-to-face stuff difficult, but I love writing and getting letters so this feels like the ideal solution :)
About me: I'm 37, female, live in the South West, like reading, films and poker, struggle through the occasional run (in between scoffing pies :), and am fairly liberal/Leftie in my politics. I also love to travel. I'm a mature student doing a PhD and live with my partner and irascible house rabbit, who is the light of our lives.
Looking forward to meeting you!
