Hiccups and GORD/GERD

I am a long time sufferer of HA and I have been taking omerprazole for years due to GORD. Lately I have been having more GORD symptoms and frequent hiccups. I am 47 and a smoker. I have convinced myself I have a tumor and this is causing the hiccups and GORD. The pain and hiccups are not constant, I have not been losing weight. Anyone have similar experiences that can talk me off the ledge?

Hiccups with GORD is a very cmmon symptom and doesn't always nor likely means a tumor, if you are getting them frequently i'd maybe make a doctors appointment to get a review over whether your omeprazole is working still and whether you need anything else x
