My headaches are back after 2 months free of them, but different now

Before Christmas I had what thought was a sinus headache for 7 weeks and ended up having a CT scan which was normal.

The headache finally went away for 2 months and now for the past 2 weeks its back.

This time its different, I have a headache, pain in my temples and ear pain, both sides, inside my ears and just in front of them.

Im so frustrated - what on earth could it be this time?

Almost certainly Anxiety and stress.

Mental health causes you to do weird things, like hold your body in a certain way. Or mood releases chemicals that causes headaches.

I've had a headache on and off for a year now.

Sounds like tension or an inner ear issue which is usually harmless and resolves on its own from my understanding. One natural thing you could try is putting lavender oil on your temples and behind your ears. Also drinking ice water as soon as you wake up and throughout the day.
