I am terrified that I have throat or oesophagus cancer .My doctor says its probably anxiety but im not convinced.Every time I swallow it like a stone in my gullet. I also have a pain:weep: under my shoulder blade. Please has anyone else had these symptoms .I am afraid of dying as I want more time with my children and 2 grandchildren.

Hello Imogen !
Anxiety can cause this awful feeling in the throat and difficulty swallowing. If this is making your anxiety worse you could ask your Doc to send you for an oesophogoscopy (camera down for a look-see) - its quick and painless and will but a stop to this constant worry.
