While I can experience health anxiety anytime, it happens predominantly in the evening--especially as I am laying down to sleep. Anyone else experience the same? Do you ever fear that the symptoms mean you may not wake up?

Yes, I find my anxiety is worse at night. Sometimes I experience them when I got to bed, my heart beats a bit quicker and i feel sometimes light headed, and sometimes experience a dread like feeling. I do not have much anxiety during the day.

I try to listen to audio night time meditations by Louise Hay and they have helped me some.

When I lay down in bed my anxiety always spikes. As soon as my partner falls asleep my mind starts racing and focussing on sensations in my body. I'm trying to learn mindfulness to calm the racing thoughts down a bit.
