Feel like I can't breath, took inhaler and started cpughing

I have had the feeling of a lump in my throat all day and it's started to really stress me out so I thought it might help if I took the inhaler I was prescribed when I had a chest infection because I thought this might help with the tight feeling. Now I keep coughing and my chest hurts, the cough sounds weird like dry and stuck. I feel like I can't breath and I'm scared I'm going to die.
