Spirometry & Reversibility Test

Hi

I have been presenting with a dry persistent cough for roughly 4 months now, GP sent me for a chest xray which is clear but now she has scheduled me in for a
Spirometry & Reversibility Test - I kind of know what this entails but has anyone had these lung function tests before?
