Try not to catastrophise. There's more than likely a reasonable explanation as to why these tests show elevated levels. Your GP or Specialist will sort things out for you, and hopefully you'll look back on your current worries and have a good chuckle about them.

Good luck.

When tests are done it's always a worry waiting for the results, and so easy for the mind to go into overload trying to predict the future. For some reason the mind always seems to take a pessimistic attitude.

If the doctor has said that there's inflammation somewhere in the body, based on the doctor's experience and what he/she can see from the tests that have been done so far, then trust the doctor, he/she is likely to be correct. By conducting further tests, examinations and by asking you relevant questions about how you feel, and where you feel it, the doctor will be able to narrow that down to a point where relevant treatment can be prescribed.

There's nothing much that the medical profession can't fix these days, so try not to worry. Easily said, I know, but do try. Distraction is good - keeping active and busy, eating sensibly, getting some exercise and laying off the booze.

I wish you all the best.

I had a CRP test for chest/joint pain. It came back ~16. Of course I googled possible causes and completely freaked out. I went in for a follow up test a few weeks later and it was under 1. Was probably just a virus or something.
