Increased to 100mg but anxiety seems worse!

I was on 50mg for years, then increased to 75mg, and now for 5 weeks I've been on 100mg. I didn't notice much of a difference, but the past few days my anxiety seems like it has been getting worse. I'm panicking about all sorts of health-related issues.
Has anyone experienced this? I feel like I actually felt better on 50mg than 100! Do I need to just ride this out and wait a little longer to feel a positive effect from the increase? I am going to call my doctor on Monday.

It may still be too early to know whether 100mg is going to be effective. I'd give it at least another 2 weeks.
