I have been on Prozac for years but don't feel that it has been working for a while. Has this happened to anyone else, my doctor doesn't seem to think you can become immune to it but i think I have.

hello Caroline,

There are loads of meds available. I am on Cipralex and I swear by it. I have been on it for a year now and I am still feeling better each month. I am able to get out and about and do things that I always used to do.

I took Prozac (about 6 years ago) for nearly a year.

I took myself off it cos I didn't see that it was doing any good - or had done all it was going to do!

I think it helped the depression a lot but never touched the panic attacks so I couldn't see the point of being on it and I really wanted to be drug free.

Perhaps you feel the same in that it has done all it can for you.

Sarah,

The Cipralex has ceratinly helped you and given you a wonderful break but the improvements you're getting now are a direct result of you working at this and not drug benefits !

take some credit for all your hard work !
