I've realised that I often have a pretty low heart rate when resting. Not even in rest by the official definition, which is taking your heart rate after you wake up I believe, but just when I'm sitting on the couch it goes as low as 54-57. When I'm lying down in bed, it hovers around 50-57.
I notice this more when I'm tired. Is there a relation between tiredness and a lower heart rate? Or anxiety about the heart rate, and a lower heart rate?
And what is your resting heart rate on average?
I'm 31 years old by the way and in decent shape, but I'm not exercising a lot and sitting way too much. Lately I'm moving around a bit more, but my resting heart rate hasn't changed from periods of exercising frequently to almost never at all.
Oh yea, my legs also tire easily lately and i sleep pretty bad for weeks. Any relation with this maybe as well?
Thanks everyone for contributing.
