So i have a red sore or patch on my gum right above my upper back tooth. It sticks out a bit there. Its red with a white rim. It bled a teensy bit this morning and hurts a bit. Previously in July i had a sore in the sane spot and fresked over oral cancer. It went away. I akso got a sore there in February that went away. Both tjose times i thought id burned it but this time i just woke up with it. It doesn't look like a canker sore as its red in the center not white. Its more like a scrape. I get dental cleanings every 4 months and was just there in February. My husband says its obviously judt a scratch or recurrent sore. Logicslly i know cancer doesn't come and go. What scarea me is red patches are supposedlt a,sign of malignancy. I dont want to go to my devtist as this visit wouldn't be covered since i just went it be very costly. 8m 39 and dont smoke but so drink wine. Has anyone else has thos what should i do
