Does anyone take this combo?

I'm on 30mg duloxetine with 50mg quetiapine for sleep

I feel like a zombie

I'm only a week in to taking the duloxetine. will this feeling go?

Thanks x

I think it more likely the quetiapine is the main reason you feel like a zombie, not the duloxetine.

yeah I was worried about that... 😩 I have to take quetiapine nightly just to sleep because of damn neighbours 😩

Quetiapine is highly sedating so maybe try taking only 25mg to see whether it's enough to do the trick without anesthetizing your brain.

The problem is quetiapine has a longish half-life so the sedation can continue well into the next day. This is why I believe the very short half-life immediate-release trazodone (Desyrel) is the better insomnia treatment, but I understand the NHS bureaucrats aren't fans so GPs can't prescribe it for insomnia. Pity :weep:

good shout, I was thinking the same thing actually. I will try it and see if it works!! eventually I want to come off the damn stuff and not have to rely on it! Xx
