I know what it is and why they do it (they did it just about every day on my wife when she was in the hospital) but only a trained medical professional is qualified to do so.

Hello

I saw a private neuro yesterday and he did this on me and nothing happened - my toes did not move at all. He said this was fine.

As you can imagine, Ive been on Facebook forums and they tell me that as nothing happened, it means it is positive.

xx

No... it means it's normal. I know this as fact.

I'm honestly wondering why you would weigh the words of random facebook people over a neurologist?

no response is means you are completely normal. neither of my feet respond to this test it is just the way it is for about 15% of the population
