citalopram increase from 20MG to 30MG today

Should I expect an increase in anxiety, or is this not much of a jump. My psychiatrist told me that most people with anxiety need 40MG or higher. She usually just increases from 20MG to 40MG-- however in my case, she wants to go slower. I tend to get an increase in anxiety (I think a lot of it is in my mind), but it definitely triggers something. I just pray i'll start to feel better soon and get stop taking benzos. I also see my therapist next week.

You may, but it is likely to be much less severe than the anxiety generated at the beginning.

I suspect most of it is generated in your mind. All part of the pill-phobia 'freebie' many of us get in addition to the primary anxiety disorder. :weep:
