I've been having anxiety since the beginning of the year. I started CBT and I feel better. By better I mean I am not anxious all day long like I used to, just from time to time throughout the day. I experienced a variety of symptoms most of which are gone. I still have burning sensation in my right calf (it comes and goes), frequent urination, occasional numbness at night. These symptoms still make me anxious. My question is how long did it take fir your symptoms to subside?
Thank you.

Usually around 2-3 months. I get burning and numbness too.

Mine last forever. By the time I get over being anxious about one thing, I find something else to latch on to. :weep:

Do you also get your symptoms even when you are not anxious? Like you are relaxed and all of a sudden something starts bothering you.

Anxiety and stress are hard on the body.

Remember...

Anxiety is like a campfire. When you're in the midst of a spiral the fire is burning bright and hot. When the flames die down, there's still a bed of red hot coals burning away just waiting for some more fuel. You may not feel anxious but your body is still on high alert and has a bed of hot anxiety coals inside just waiting to flare up. Just like a campfire, the hot coals of anxiety take a long time to finally go out.
