Been on Buspar for a week and feeling much, much worse...

Can anyone help me?

Ive been taking 5mg buspar 3 times a day for a week now and ive got to say, I feel bloody awful.

Im a lot more anxious and have a bad tummy and feel sick.

I feel like Im going mad.

Is this normal, will it pass or should I just give up on this medication?

Hi, sorry to hear your not doing better. I read that it takes 2 weeks for this medication to work. You body needs to adjust to the new medication.

Try to give it its full trial then speak to your doctor.

I just started buspar today 5mg x2 a day... positive thoughts =)

I don't do well with medication because of my phobia, so I don't think that my progress would help you.
