Split second chest pain

I was in my car just now and I turned slightly and I got a split second flash of pain in my chest. It was really painful, but it went fast. I've gotten this before in a car when I turned the steering wheel and the pain lasted through the evening.

Now my chest is sore and I'm not sure if I should run to the ER. My friend who is a doctor said its muscular, but this happened 90 minutes ago and im really scared.

Been there! Yes, it happens. If you move and it gets better, it's probably muscular.
