Hello!! I am new here.. pardon me for my grammar. I am what you can describe as a hypochondriac. From throat Cancer to ovariar, breast, lung cancer, u name the disease and I'll have it. My parents, friends, bf they're literally fed up of me.
But this time, I think this is not mere health anxiety, it is something more severe and sinister.
From past 1 week, i am having flu like symptoms with thick nasal discharge n guess what!!! My nose mucos had blood in it. Yesterday night, i had phelgum with blood!!! I am totally freaking out n convinced that this is leukemia, since i am young and non smoker so chances of lung cancer are rare . Although i do not have any weight loss, yet i feel fatigued and drain out. Sorry for this long threat, but i dont know where to seak help and I m literally shaking while typing this.
Any response would be appreciated.

Hi Iba,

I'm new to the forum and a fellow anxiety sufferer. I don't know anything about leukemia (thankfully not googled that one yet) but I've burst a blood vessel in my nose before when I've had a really bad cold. I wondered if this could be what you're experiencing? Have you been blowing your nose all the time? You're bound to feel tired if you're suffering with a bad cold or flu at the moment.

Were you feeling ok last week?

Helo..
Visited a GP today.. he thinks its just a really bad cold, which tends to make one lethargic . The problem is, he did not went for a blood test, or atleast chest XRay , which could have confirmed or ruled out my fear. Have my exams scheduled this coming week, not able to study.
Should I wait for the symptoms to get severe or consult some other physician?
Confused.
