Hi everyone

I posted before about having a fear of colon cancer.

This morning I found black dots on my toilet paper while wiping. I was able to pick up one of the black dots and it felt hard/I was unable to squish it or anything. If this was blood, would i have been able to squish it or would it smear easily? I tried calling my doctors to ask but they're closed today.

Part of me is thinking of possibly getting a psych eval because i feel I'm going crazy convincing myself I have colon cancer

IMO and with respect, obsessing to the point of physically handling bits of your poo due to an irrational and unwarranted fear should to be addressed professionally.

To be fair, it wasn't poop itself. I could tell. But at the same time, I understand your point. It's still not normal

Aren't they just seeds or undigested parts of something you have eaten?

You really need to see the doctor about your anxiety. Why are you examining toilet paper? Seriously?

Yeah, this is what my doctor just said when I talked to her about it

That seems to happen with certain types of foods that we can't fully process.

I've found it happens with loose stool periods too. Less transit time.
