I've had a high pitched ringing in my left ear for three weeks now. I went to the GP and the nurse checked my ears which revealed a substantial build-up in the left ear. I was given olive oil and I've been using it for about a week or so now before I'm due to get my ear irrigated. The thing is that the olive oil keeps blocking my ear and spikes the ringing to the point where it can't be ignored or masked easily.
Anybody else had this problem? Really don't know what to do.
