worried over nothing

when going to the hospital today to get a lumpy feeling thing in my rectum checked out, I was examined and had a DRE done. I was told by the doctor that she could feel lumps, but that was just the way the sphincter feels. other than that there was nothing out of the ordinary. The rest of my symptoms were put down to anxiety induced ibs.

Can i trust it though? are those lumps really just normal? i don't know anymore lol. i dont wanna google cos ill just become more worried.

You won't accept the word of a trained medical professional who has physically examined you but you expect a bunch of anxious people on a forum to make you feel better?

ok, no those lumps are normal. They aren't cancer.
