Head pain worry

I'm out with my grandparents and started to get a headache. I often have headaches so this isn't out of th ordinary to me, but it feels really different. It almost feels like nausea in the back of my head. I'm emetophobic so it's quite disconcerting, as well as the fear I have a tumour or I will become ill.

The leap of logic from a headache (for what must have been a very short period of time, too, if you've jumped straight on here actually while you've been out) to having a tumour is enormous and totally irrational. If you have headaches a lot you know there's usually no big reason for them, and just because it "feels" different doesn't mean it's anything to worry about.

I appreciate emetephobia will make fear of being even mildly ill worse. Try and relax and take your mind off it, the more you focus on pain and nausea the worse they get.
