Chest pain when I breathe in

I suffer from a lot of chest pain, mostly on the left side of my chest, I have it pretty much everyday. When I breathe in it tends to hurt more.

Indigestion remedies dont tend to help, it's just a constant dull ache.

Any ideas what the problem is???? :blush:

I have had this for years and still worry about it. I have been told many times and contantly repeat this to myself. If it hurts when you breath, it is more likely it is muscle or gas. I have had the pain so bad it feels like a knife is stabbing. The more I try shallow breathing the more it hurts. I seem to get to take a deep breath it hurts but it seems to disapate and my mind relaxes.

It is our thoughts of "what if it is a heart attack or ???, I won't share my rediculous thoughts - I am sure you have enough of your own.
