Hello everyone wherever you are now...
I need useful advices and encouragement for my first time of solo traveling to Europe this August for 3 weeks. I am a person with anxiety disorder, mood swing, depression and OCD. I hear and read a lot of things about female solo traveling and it sparks a motivation to go out of my comfort zone. I also think it would be a sort of therapy to really deal with my mental problems. However I am recently encountering an intense anxiety of the fact that I am gonna be alone during my trip, it all affects my attempt to further collect as many info as I can for the preparation of solo traveling. I am indeed overwhelmed in this unpleasant feeling. Has anyone here ever experienced the "first-time-solo-traveling" syndrome? How do you deal with it and how do you overcome a possibility of panic attack when things unexpected happens on your trip?
Thanks in advanced for your attention.

I've been travelling a few times and each time i've always gone on my own. I've preffered that, and in hostels it's really easy to meet people.

I've only been once since I've suffered with social anxiety, and I found it kind of went away while I was away. I only had 3 weeks off, but I found in that time it was easy for me to socialise, unlike i'd do at home.

If you're staying in dorms, you could try to book smaller bed dorms? So the room is quieter and less going on.

Good luck :)
