Just over a year ago I had surgery to remove my ovary due to a cyst that contained rare potentially sinister cells. Initially I was told the cells were benign but since I have been told they are actually classed as borderline cancer.
I have my follow up appointment in 2 weeks and I keep getting pain in my remaining ovary I'm so so worried that I have another cyst. The cells they found were super rare so they don't have much information about whether it could come back on my other ovary.
I really wish I could feel lucky that I didn't have full blown cancer but I just feel like my life is out of control and i feel like I can't plan for the future.
I'm only 28 and have no children so I fear if they do find another cyst they will remove my remaining ovary...
Does anyone else have a similar experience and how do you cope?
